The third-floor work area was once an attic with pull-down stairs. Now it is an open, inviting space that is currently being used as an office. This view is of the reading nook at the north end of the space.
Cherry cabinets and black granite counter top are featured in this former airing deck-turned-work-area. The smooth counter makes a wonder space for on-going projects. The file drawers and cabinets provide ample storage for the accumulated records of a modern family. Notice how the cabinets in this space match the cabinets in the kitchen.
This close-up of the dining room cabinet features the custom fretwork that was added to compliment a similar detail found on the ceiling fixture and floor lamp. Also notice that the area between the cabinets and the countertop is mirrored. The countertop is verde fontaine granite.
