Out of the classroom, onto the screen, into the mind
Converting classroom training to e-Learning requires more than broadcasting
lectures on the network and converting overhead transparencies to Web pages.
It requires a lofty strategy and pragmatic tactics.
In this presentation participants learn to:
- Define realistic goals.
- Decide what kind of course to create-instructor or no instructor, synchronous
or asynchronous, large class or class of one.
- Adapt some classroom activities to the Web environment and replace others
with entirely new learning activities that take full advantage of the resources
of the Web.
- Plan a smooth transition from classroom to Web.
- Motivate lonely distance learners.
